Emily and I are participating in the Fall 2007 Korean Ties trip. When we received the latest informational mailing from Pat (in which she encouraged the group to communicate and provided email addresses), we thought it would be fun to set up a blog and try it out as a mechanism for communicating as a group. Since only two members of our family are making this trip, I wanted to introduce all of our family. I'm just beginning to learn how to blog, and I haven't quite managed the photo loading very well, but Kevin and I are the proud parents of Emily, Robert, Kevin, and Andy. We adopted our children through Wide Horizons for Children in Massachusetts, and this is the first trip to Korea for any of us.
I set the blog up so that all of the email addresses I have are "administrators" and can, therefore, do whatever you want to the blog. I hope you will all post pictures, tell us about your families, raise questions about the trip, etc. Maybe our tour guide will give us helpful tips about packing, the weather, gift ideas, etc. Em and I are really looking forward to meeting all of you and traveling with you.
